Integration platform for data and processes

Integrate the data and processes of your organisation. Add new applications without fear.

univedo connects your systems, devices and people into one shared, living picture. Applications from different vendors work on the same data and hand processes to each other. New applications, even ones you describe in plain language, join a sensitive environment safely, in the cloud, on premise, or in your private cloud.

A manufacturing company, a hospital, a logistics network, a laboratory: every system keeps its job. univedo holds the shared picture, hands processes between them, and lets a new application in only once it is approved.
The situation

Production runs on systems that were never designed to work together

ERP, CAM, tool databases, machine controls, presetting devices, robots, and a good number of spreadsheets. Each does its job well. Between them, every connection is a project of its own, every update puts those connections at risk, and nobody has the whole picture.

Adding something new is worse. A new application, and especially one generated from a prompt, would need to touch the same orders, tools and machines that keep the plant running. So it stays a prototype.

What univedo does

One platform, four promises

Cloud, on premise or private cloud

Run univedo in the cloud, on premise, or in your private cloud: the same platform and the same applications in each. Keep sensitive data on site, and switch later if your needs change. Your data and applications move with you.

Integrate data

Every system contributes its part to one shared picture of orders, parts, programs, tools, machines and people. Nothing is copied back and forth. When the picture evolves, older applications keep working, because every change is kept as a version.

Integrate processes

A process rarely stays inside one system: an order becomes a program, needs tools, reaches a machine, reports back. On univedo, applications hand these steps to each other as events. Nothing gets lost, not even after a restart.

Introduce applications safely

A new application, whether bought, built, or prompted, starts in its own space and reaches production data only after it has been checked and approved. The platform itself enforces that rule at runtime.

Your infrastructure, your choice

Cloud, on premise or private cloud. Switch when your needs change.

Sensitive organisations need their data where they can see it. Run univedo in our cloud with nothing to operate, or on your own servers or in your private cloud as a first-class option, not an afterthought. And because every option runs the same software, the decision is never final.

Cloud

Hosted and operated for you. Nothing to install or maintain. Start within a day, pay per month, scale with your sites.

On premise

A guided setup on your own servers. No configuration files, only an outbound connection. Data never leaves the site.

Private cloud

Your own cloud tenant or data centre, under your policies and your keys. Same guided setup, same updates.

Same everywhere

Cloud, on-premise and private cloud installations run the same software. Applications, users and processes behave identically, so nobody has to relearn anything after a move.

Move without a rebuild

Your data, applications and approvals move as a whole. A switch is a planned migration of days, not a new implementation project.

Mix per site

Run a pilot in the cloud, one plant on premise, another in your private cloud, all on the same platform. Updates for each come from the Univedo Store.

More about operations

Not tied to one industry

Built on the shop floor, made for any organisation that runs on many systems

Manufacturing is where univedo grew up, and where its reference user runs it every day. The platform itself does not care whether the shared picture holds orders and tools, patients and beds, shipments and vehicles, or samples and results.

Prompted applications

Describe it. Watch it appear. Trust it in production.

AI can write software fast. What stopped it from reaching the shop floor is trust. univedo gives a prompted application a safe path from the first sentence to the running plant.

  1. DescribeSay what you need in plain language: a tool request board for the night shift, a customer portal for order status, an inspection checklist.
  2. Watch it appearThe application is built on the shared picture of your production, in its own development space, with a live preview. Keep prompting to refine it.
  3. Get it checkedBefore it may change production data, an expert reviews how it uses the shared picture and approves it. The approval is sealed with the application.
  4. Run itIn production, the platform checks the approval on every write. Everything the application does is versioned and reversible. The AI runs where you decide, on site or in the cloud.

How the safe path works in detail

Who it is for

Manufacturers, software vendors, integrators

Manufacturers

Get one picture of your production instead of a dozen. Add applications from different vendors and let them work together. Try prompted applications for the gaps nobody builds software for, without risking the systems that run the plant.

Software vendors

Build on a shared, governed picture of production instead of integrating with every customer's landscape. Get your application approved once, and sell it through the Univedo Store to every site that runs the platform.

Integrators and consultants

Connect ERP, CAM and machines through documented, sanctioned paths. Deliver applications to your customers that keep working when the platform evolves, and that you can hand over with a clear conscience.

Proven in a demanding case

If it holds up on a machining shop floor, it holds up for you

The hardest test for an integration platform is an environment where a wrong record stops a machine: the wrong tool in a spindle, an outdated NC program, a pallet sent to the wrong cell. That is where univedo is proven today.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

What is univedo?

univedo is an integration platform for data and processes. It connects the systems, devices and people of an organisation into one shared, versioned picture. Applications from different vendors work on the same data and hand processes to each other, and new applications, including ones generated from a prompt, reach production data only after they have been approved.

Does univedo replace our ERP, MES or other systems?

No. Every system keeps its job. univedo sits underneath and connects them: each system contributes its part to the shared picture, and processes that cross system boundaries are handed over through the platform instead of through point-to-point interfaces.

What are prompted applications?

Applications that you describe in plain language and that AI builds for you, on the shared picture of your organisation and in a separate development space with a live preview. Typical examples are shift boards, request forms, inspection checklists, or small portals for customers and suppliers.

How can an AI-generated application be safe in production?

Through five guarantees. It builds on the shared picture instead of inventing its own data. It is developed in its own space. Every step is recorded as a version. An expert approves it before it may change production data. And the platform checks that approval on every write, so an unapproved application may read but not change what keeps your organisation running.

Can univedo run on premise or in a private cloud?

Yes. univedo runs in the cloud, on premise on your own servers, or in your private cloud. The on-premise setup is guided, needs no configuration files and only an outbound internet connection. Data never has to leave the site.
